Those who had preordered any of the packs from May 24 onwards at any PlayStation Focus Stores will receive a limited edition umbrella while stocks last.
Naughty Dog Interactive is also the developer of the highly popular Uncharted series. Uncharted is known for its lush 3D graphics and intense storytelling, and The Last of Us is expected to also contain the same elements.
Players for The Last of Us will play as Joel, a survivor of a world decimated by a modern plague and descended into chaos by the survivors, who will kill others for food and weapons. He must work together with Ellie, a young teenage girl, if they hope to survive their journey across the United States.
The Steelbook Edition collection pack includes The Last of Us Steelbook and a Naughty Dog Interactive sticker sheet. The Special Edition will include the Steelbook, a mini art book, a mini comic, a dualshock 3 original skin, a limited edition postcard set, a Naughty Dog Interactive Sticker Sheet, a Sights and Sounds DLC pack, and even LittleBigPlanet Joel and Ellie Sackboy costumes.
The Steelbook Edition retails for RM169, while the Special Edition retails for RM229. The Chinese and English version are both expected to be released this Friday.
